Saturday, October 4 from 10:30 am - NOON -- I will be doing a "library chat" (writers' workshop/ book signing) with local Minnesota romance authors Michele Hauf, Lois Greiman, and Leandra Logan. Tuesday, October 14 from 5:30 to 7:00 pm -- I will be taking part in the "RAKING THROUGH BOOKS" event at Keiren's Irish Pub in downtown Minneapolis, along with fellow Wyrdsmiths: Eleanor Arnason and Kelly D. McCullough. The event gives the audience members a chance to have a discussion with writers - about the authors' works, the writing life, etc. Kieren's Irish Pub is located at 330 2nd Avenue South in downtown Minneapolis. The event is sponsored by The Rake, The Loft, and, of course, Kieren's Pub. The event is open to the public. Call the Loft (612) 215-2575 for more information.

NOVEMEBER 2008

On Sunday, November 16 (time and place TBA) will be a "Meet the Wyrdsmiths" gathering organized by local SFF talent Hilary M. Murphy. The Wyrdsmiths attending include myself, Naomi Kritzer, Kelly D. McCullough, Eleanor Arnason, Bill Henry, Sean M. Murphy, and Doug Hulick.

Thursday, November 20 from 10:00 - 11:15 am I will be one of the speakers/panelists at the Minnesota Library Conference's "When Love Hurts: Taking the Pain Out of Romance RA." (The conference is a members-only event.)
