Scott Bosshardt (The Boss) is currently an employee at West Group, working for Lawschool.com, The West Education Network.  But he wasn't always a programmer, fixing tracker issues and designing important new features. Once he hobnobbed with the stars, cruising the fast lane with the famous. Once he juggled his way into fame and fortune. Once he was closest of friends with Scott Baio, so close that you couldn't talk about one of the Scotts without talking about the other--you could only refer to them as...Scott2

JoanieCheerleader.jpg (129062 bytes)Both Scotts started their careers on the same show...the long running Happy Days.  Though Scott (The Boss) had originally auditioned for the role of Fonzie, his goofy charm eventually led to him being cast as the first Ralph Malph. But Erin Moran's obvoius attraction to him led to his replacement by Don Most in that role (the move was unexplained, much like the switch between Darrens on Bewitched) and his recasting as "Joanie's" first love interest (pictured above).   Yet, The Boss was cast as a highschool junior to Joanie's freshman, and after only two years his character left for college, to be replaced in Joanie's heart by Charles "Chachi" Arcola, played by Scott Baio. The Boss stayed on for two years after his character left the show, acting as special superviser of love interests.  It was in this capacity that he came to be best friends with his young protoge'.

But just because Scott Baio was Erin Moran's love interest on the show and The Boss' emerging best friend, did not make him her love interest off the show--there The Boss still ruled Joanie's heart. They parlayed their romance into the 2 minute and 38 second love ballad "You Look at Me", which soared up the charts, played on the radios of parking teens.

Even the fame of screen and song could not content The Boss, however, he wanted more, and he was willing to take life by the horns and tame it to his will.  Taking a lead from Scott Baio for once, rather than the other way around, he hit the teen circuit, answering fan mail in magazines like Tiger Beat, singing on the road, and engaging in several publicized affairs with Suzi Quatro (Leather Tuscadero), Linda Purl (Gloria) and Marion Ross. His famous "The Ox Rocks" poster, featuring him in nothing but gold bikini briefs and a hard hat, soon graced the bedroom door of half the teenagers in the United States.
