Instrumental Ensemble Manual
Literature
All of the instrumental ensembles will be using published ensemble music.
Groups listed will also use a band method text book. All students must have their groups book by the second week of school, for use in rehearsal. Books can be purchased at many area music stores or another sheet music store that you know of.

Concert and Event Dress
For concerts and events all students must wear a uniform assigned for their group.
- Jr. H.S. T-Shirt or Sweat Shirt, Slacks or trousers. Denim is OK for outside use.
- Button down dress shirt, slacks or trousers.
No jeans are allowed.
Girls may wear calf-length skirts.
Orchestra, Jazz Ensemble, Symphonic Winds
- White button down shirt, black dress pants or slacks, NON denim.
Girls may wear black calf-length skirts.
When performing on stage everyone must wear black leather dress shoes.
When going on field trips students must wear a school T-Shirt or Sweater for identification and location at all times. If the weather is cold, a coat may be worn outside.
T-Shirts and Sweatshirts must be kept clean and folded. We are representing our school and community so it is important that we show our best face.
