“EVERYTHING HAS RHYTHM AND POLARITY SO WATCH OUT FOR THE BACKSWING” – Part 2

24) SCIENCE CONFIRMS THE CONCEPT OF POLARITY - THAT EVERYTHING HAS IT’S OPPOSITE AND IT IS POSSIBLE TO TRANSMUTE ONE STATE INTO IT’S OPPOSITE. Ecclesiastes 3:1-15, 1 Corinthians 10:11-13, Ephesians 4:22-24, Luke 17:1-6

 

Luke 17:1-6 (pg. 741)says:

 

 1Jesus said to his disciples: "Things that cause people to sin are bound to come, but woe to that person through whom they come. 2It would be better for him to be thrown into the sea with a millstone tied around his neck than for him to cause one of these little ones to sin. 3So watch yourselves.
      "If your brother sins, rebuke him, and if he repents, forgive him. 4If he sins against you seven times in a day, and seven times comes back to you and says, 'I repent,' forgive him."

 5The apostles said to the Lord, "Increase our faith!"

 6He replied, "If you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, 'Be uprooted and planted in the sea,' and it will obey you.

·        ·        The Bible constantly calls Christians to transmute their fears and insecurities into faith.

·        ·         

·        ·        And the Bible warns Christians about transmuting their obedience into sin – the challenge is to stay on the “obedience pole”.

 1 Corinthians 10:11-13 (pg. 811)

11These things happened to them as examples and were written down as warnings for us, on whom the fulfillment of the ages has come. 12So, if you think you are standing firm, be careful that you don't fall! 13No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it.

“Everything is dual; everything has poles; everything has its pair of opposites; like and unlike are the same; opposites are identical in nature, but different in degree; extremes meet; all truths are but half-truths; all paradoxes may be reconciled”. – the kybalion

 

·        ·        The principle of polarity embodies the truth that all manifested things have “two sides”; “two aspects”; “two poles”; “pair of opposites,” with manifold degrees between the two extremes.

 

·        ·        It teaches that “the pairs of opposites may be reconciled” and that “thesis and antithesis are identical in nature, but in different degree”

 

·        ·        Travel far enough North and you will find yourself traveling South.

 

·        ·        When we apply the Principle of polarity; we find that there is no such thing as absolute Love or absolute hate on a human level as distinguished from each other.

 

·        ·        The two are merely terms applied to the two poles of the same thing.

 

·        ·        There are degrees of love ad hate, and there is a middle point where “Like and Dislike become so faint that it is difficult to distinguish between them.

 

·        ·        Faith and Fear come under the same rule.

 

·        ·        The pairs of opposites exist everywhere. Where you find one thing you find its opposite – the two poles.

 

·        ·        And this allows the Christian to transmute one mental state into another, along the lines of polarization.

 

·        ·        Things belonging to different classes cannot be transmuted into each other, but things of the same class may be changed, that is, may have their polarity changed.

 

·        ·        Hate may be transformed into love.

 

·        ·        Fear may transformed into Faith.

 

·        ·        Depression may be transformed into joy.

 

·        ·        Pride may be transformed into humility.

 

·        ·        Anxiety may be transformed into peace.

 

·        ·        The change is not in the nature of a transmutation of one thing into another thing entirely different – but is merely a change of degree in the same things.

 

·        ·        The two poles of anything matter on the physical plane is often classified as positive and negative.

 

·        ·        Love is positive to hate, Faith to fear.

 

·        ·        The positive pole seems to be of a higher degree than the negative and readily dominates it.

 

·        ·        The tendency of nature is in the direction of the dominant activity of the positive pole.

 

·        ·        All mental states are a matter of degree and so a person can raise or lower the vibration at will to change his mental poles and thus be Master of his mental states instead of being their servant and slave.

 

TRUTH: THE HOLY SPIRIT ALLOWS THE CHRISTIAN TO TRANSMUTE A NEGATIVE MENTAL STATE INTO A POSITIVE ONE THROUGH THE “MIND OF CHRIST” THAT DWELLS INSIDE THE PERSON.

 

Ephesians 4:22-24 (pg. 829) says:

22You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; 23to be made new in the attitude of your minds; 24and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.

Romans 12:1-2 (pg. 803) says:

 

 1Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God—this is your spiritual[a] act of worship. 2Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.

 

NOTE: MOST PEOPLE MISTAKENLY THINK THAT THEY WILL CHANGE FROM A NEGATIVE MENTAL STATE TO A POSTIVE ONE WHEN THE EXTERNAL CIRCUMSTANCES CHANGE, BUT THE EXTERNAL CIRCUMSTANCES WILL NOT CHANGE UNTIL THEIR MENTAL STATE CHANGES FIRST!

 

25) SCEINCE CONFIRMS THE PRICIPLE OF RHYTHM – THAT EVEYTHING MOVES PROPROPORTINATELY. Ecclesiastes 3:1-15

 

Ecclesiastes 3:1-15 (pg. 473) says:

 

 1 There is a time for everything,
       and a season for every activity under heaven:

 2 a time to be born and a time to die,
       a time to plant and a time to uproot,

 3 a time to kill and a time to heal,
       a time to tear down and a time to build,

 4 a time to weep and a time to laugh,
       a time to mourn and a time to dance,

 5 a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them,
       a time to embrace and a time to refrain,

 6 a time to search and a time to give up,
       a time to keep and a time to throw away,

 7 a time to tear and a time to mend,
       a time to be silent and a time to speak,

 8 a time to love and a time to hate,
       a time for war and a time for peace.

 9 What does the worker gain from his toil? 10 I have seen the burden God has laid on men. 11 He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the hearts of men; yet they cannot fathom what God has done from beginning to end. 12 I know that there is nothing better for men than to be happy and do good while they live. 13 That everyone may eat and drink, and find satisfaction in all his toil—this is the gift of God. 14 I know that everything God does will endure forever; nothing can be added to it and nothing taken from it. God does it so that men will revere him.

 15 Whatever is has already been,
       and what will be has been before;
       and God will call the past to account. [a]

 16 And I saw something else under the sun:
       In the place of judgment—wickedness was there,
       in the place of justice—wickedness was there.

 17 I thought in my heart,
       "God will bring to judgment
       both the righteous and the wicked,
       for there will be a time for every activity,
       a time for every deed."

 18 I also thought, "As for men, God tests them so that they may see that they are like the animals. 19 Man's fate is like that of the animals; the same fate awaits them both: As one dies, so dies the other. All have the same breath [b] ; man has no advantage over the animal. Everything is meaningless. 20 All go to the same place; all come from dust, and to dust all return. 21 Who knows if the spirit of man rises upward and if the spirit of the animal [c] goes down into the earth?"

 22 So I saw that there is nothing better for a man than to enjoy his work, because that is his lot. For who can bring him to see what will happen after him?

·        ·        “Everything flows, out and in; everything has its tide; all things rise and fall; the pendulum-swing manifests in everything; the measure of the swing to the right is the measure of the swing to the left; rhythm compensates.” – the Kybalion

 

·        ·        The principle pf rhythm embodies the truth that in everything there is manifested a measured motion, a to and from movement; a flow and inflow; a swing forward and backward; a pendulum like movement; a tide-like ebb and flow; a high-tide and a low-tide; between the two poles manifest on the physical mental or spiritual planes.

 

·        ·        Rhythm manifest between the two poles established by the principle of polarity.

 

·        ·        This does not mean, however, that the pendulum of rhythm swings to the extreme poles, for this rarely happens; in fact, it is difficult to establish the extreme polar opposites in the majority of cases. But the swing is ever “toward” first one pole and then another.

 

·        ·        There is always an action and reaction: an advance and a retreat; a rising and a sinking: manifested in all of the airs and phenomena of the universe.

 

·        ·        All the things of shape and form swing from action to reaction; from birth to death; from activity to inactivity – and then back again. Thus it is with all living things, they are born, grow, and die – and they are reborn.

 

·        ·        There is always the Rhythmic swing from one pole to the other.

 

·        ·        The Universal Pendulum is ever in motion.

 

·        ·        The Tides of life flow in and out, according to Law.

 

·        ·        Spiritual masters have discovered that while the Principle of Rhythm was invariable, and ever in evidence in mental phenomena, still there were two planes of its manifestation so far as mental phenomena are concerned.

 

·        ·        They discovered that there were two general planes of consciousness, the Lower and the Higher.

 

·        ·        This understanding enabled them to rise to the higher plane and thereby escape the swing of the Rhythmic pendulum which manifested on the lower plane.

 

·        ·        In other words, the swing of the pendulum occurred on the unconscious plane and the Consciousness was not affected.

 

·        ·        It is akin to rising above a thing and letting it pass beneath you.

 

·        ·        The Christian master polarizes himself at the desired pole, and by refusing to participate in the backward swing by denying its influence over him, he stands form in his polarized position, and allows the mental pendulum to swing back along the unconscious plane.

 

·        ·        All individuals who have attained any degree of self-mastery, accomplish this, more or less unknowingly by refusing to allow their moods and negative mental states to affect them, they apply the Law of Neutralization.

 

1 Thessalonians 5:16-24 (pg. 837) says:

16Be joyful always; 17pray continually; 18give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.

 19Do not put out the Spirit's fire; 20do not treat prophecies with contempt. 21Test everything. Hold on to the good. 22Avoid every kind of evil.

 23May God himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and through. May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. 24The one who calls you is faithful and he will do it.

·        ·        If you stop and consider for a moment, you will realize how these swings of Rhythm have affected you in your life – how a period of Enthusiasm has been followed by an opposite feeling and mood of depression.

 

·        ·        Likewise your moods and states of Faith have been succeeded by equal moods of fear.

 

·        ·        And so it is has ever been with the majority of persons – tides of feeling have ever risen and fallen with them, but they have never suspected the cause or reason of the mental phenomena.

 

·        ·        An understanding of the workings of this principle will give one the key to the mastery of these rhythmic swings of feeling, and will enable him to know himself better and to avoid being carried away by these inflows and outflows.

 

 Axioms

 

“To destroy an undesirable rate of mental vibration, put into operation of the Principle of Polarity and concentrate upon the opposite pole to that which you desire to suppress. Kill out the undesirable by changing its polarity.

 

·        ·        To kill out a negative quality, concentrate upon the positive pole of that same quality, and the vibrations will gradually change from negative to positive, until finally you will become polarized on the positive instead of the negative.

 

·        ·        By changing your polarity you may master your moods, change your mental states, remake your disposition, and build up your character.

 

·        ·        “Mind may be transmuted from state to state; degree to degree; condition to condition; pole to pole; vibration to vibration.”

 

·        ·        “Rhythm may be neutralized by an application of the art of polarization”

 

·        ·        The master by rising mentally to a higher Plane causes the swing of the mental pendulum to manifest on the lower plane, and he dwelling on his higher plane, escapes the consciousness of the swing backward.

 

·        ·        This is affected by polarizing on the higher Self, and thus rising above a thing, allowing it to pass beneath you.

 

·        ·        The advanced Christian polarizes himself at the positive pole of his being – the “I AM” pole rather than the pole of personality, and by “refusing” and “denying” the operation of Rhythm, raises himself above its plane of consciousness and standing firm in his statement of being he allows the pendulum to swing back on the lower plane without changing his polarity.

 

·        ·        This is accomplished by all individuals who have attained any degree of self-mastery, whether they understand it or not.

 

·        ·        Such persons simply “refuse” to allow themselves to be swung back by the pendulum of mood and emotion.

 

·        ·        You do not destroy to Principle of rhythm, for that is indestructible.

 

·        ·        You simply overcome one law by counter-balancing it with another, an thus maintain an equilibrium.

 

·        ·        The laws of balance and counter balance are in operation on the mental as well as on the physical planes, and an understanding of these laws enables one to seem to overthrow laws, whereas he is merely exerting a counter-balance.

 

“Nothing escapes the Principle of cause and effect, but there are many planes of causation, and one may use the laws of the higher to overcome the laws of the lower”

 

·        ·        By understanding the practice of polarization, the “Christ-follower” rises to a higher plain of causation and thus counter balance the laws of the lower planes of causation.

 

·        ·        If the Universe be Mental in its substantial nature, then it follows that mental transmutation must change the conditions and phenomena of the universe.

 

·        ·        If the Universe is mental, then mind must be the highest power affecting its phenomena.

 

26) SCIENCE CONFORMS THE LAW OF COMPENSATION – ALL WILL BE BALANCED, ALL ACCOUNTS WILL BE PAID. Luke 14:25-35, Mark 10:29-33, Galatians 2:20

Luke 14:25-35, Matthew 23:10-12

 

 

·        ·        One of the definitions or meanings of the word “Compensate” is “to counterbalance.”

 

“The measure of the swing to the right is the measure of the swing to the left; rhythm compensates.”

 

·        ·        The Law of compensation is that the swing in one direction determines the swing in the opposite direction, or to the opposite pole – the one balances, or counterbalances, the other.

 

·        ·        On the physical plane we see many examples of this Law. The pendulum of the clock swings a certain distance to the right, and then an equal distance to the left.

 

·        ·        The seasons balance each other the same way. The tides follow the same law. And the same Law is manifested in all phenomena of Rhythm.

 

·        ·        The pendulum, with a short swing in one direction, has but a short swig in the other; while the long swing to the right invariably means the long swing to the left.

 

·        ·        The man who enjoys keenly, is subject to keen suffering; while he who feels but little pain is capable of feeling but little joy.

 

·        ·        The pig suffers but little mentally, and enjoys but little – he is compensated.

 

·        ·        On the other hand, there are other animals who enjoy keenly, but whose nervous organism and temperament cause them to suffer exquisite degrees of pain.

 

·        ·        And so it is with man.

 

·        ·        There are temperaments which permit low degrees of enjoyment and equally low degrees of suffering, while there are others which permit the most intense enjoyment, but also the most intense suffering.

 

·        ·        Know yourself – know your rhythmic cycles.

 

·        ·        The rule is that the capacity for pain and leisure, in each individual, are balanced. The law of compensation is full operation.

 

·        ·        Before one is able to enjoy a certain degree of pleasure, he must have swung as far, proportionately, toward the other pole of feeling.

 

·        ·        The negative is precedent to the positive in this matter, that is to say that in experiencing a certain degree of pleasure it does not follow that he will have to “pay up for it” with a corresponding degree of pain.

 

·        ·        On the contrary, the pleasure is the Rhythmic swing, according to the Law of Compensation, for a degree of pain previously experienced.

 

·        ·        The Master is able, to a great degree, to escape the swing toward Pain, by the process of Neutralization.

 

·        ·        By rising on the higher plane above the ego, much of the experience that comes to those dwelling on the lower plane is avoided and escaped.

 

·        ·        The Law of compensation plays an important part in the lives of men and women.

 

·        ·        It will be noticed that one generally “pays the price” of anything he possesses or lacks.

 

·        ·        If he has one thing, he lacks another – the balance is struck.

 

·        ·        No once can “keep his penny and have his bit of cake”

 

·        ·        “You can’t have you cake and eat it too”

 

·        ·        Everything has its pleasant and unpleasant sides.

 

·        ·        NOTE: IN LIFE, THE THINGS THAT ONE GAINS ARE ALWAYS PAID FOR BY THE THINGS THAT ONE LOSES – “YOU HAVE TO GIVE UP IN ORDER TO GO UP”.

 

Luke 14:25-35 (pg. 739) says:

 

25Large crowds were traveling with Jesus, and turning to them he said: 26"If anyone comes to me and does not hate his father and mother, his wife and children, his brothers and sisters—yes, even his own life—he cannot be my disciple. 27And anyone who does not carry his cross and follow me cannot be my disciple.

 28"Suppose one of you wants to build a tower. Will he not first sit down and estimate the cost to see if he has enough money to complete it? 29For if he lays the foundation and is not able to finish it, everyone who sees it will ridicule him, 30saying, 'This fellow began to build and was not able to finish.'

 31"Or suppose a king is about to go to war against another king. Will he not first sit down and consider whether he is able with ten thousand men to oppose the one coming against him with twenty thousand? 32If he is not able, he will send a delegation while the other is still a long way off and will ask for terms of peace. 33In the same way, any of you who does not give up everything he has cannot be my disciple.

 34"Salt is good, but if it loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? 35It is fit neither for the soil nor for the manure pile; it is thrown out.
      "He who has ears to hear, let him hear."

Galatians 2:20-21(pg. 824) says:

20I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. 21I do not set aside the grace of God, for if righteousness could be gained through the law, Christ died for nothing!"[a]

Mark 10:29-33 (pg. 716) says:

29"I tell you the truth," Jesus replied, "no one who has left home or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or fields for me and the gospel 30will fail to receive a hundred times as much in this present age (homes, brothers, sisters, mothers, children and fields—and with them, persecutions) and in the age to come, eternal life. 31But many who are first will be last, and the last first."

·        ·        The rich possess much that the poor lack, while the poor often possess things that are beyond the reach of the rich.

 

·        ·        There is a price t be paid for a good marriage.

 

·        ·        There is a price to be paid for success.

 

·        ·        There is a price to be paid following Jesus.

 

·        ·        There is a price to be paid for everything and anything you desire.

 

·        ·        THE GOSPEL IS FREE BUT IT WILL COST YOU YOUR LIFE.

 

Matthew 5:1-12 (pg. 683) says:

 

 1Now when he saw the crowds, he went up on a mountainside and sat down. His disciples came to him, 2and he began to teach them saying:
 3"Blessed are the poor in spirit,
      for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
 4Blessed are those who mourn,
      for they will be comforted.
 5Blessed are the meek,
      for they will inherit the earth.
 6Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness,
      for they will be filled.
 7Blessed are the merciful,
      for they will be shown mercy.
 8Blessed are the pure in heart,
      for they will see God.
 9Blessed are the peacemakers,
      for they will be called sons of God.
 10Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness,
      for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. 11"Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. 12Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.

 

Matthew 19:28-32 (pg. 696) says:

 

 28Jesus said to them, "I tell you the truth, at the renewal of all things, when the Son of Man sits on his glorious throne, you who have followed me will also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel. 29And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother[a] or children or fields for my sake will receive a hundred times as much and will inherit eternal life. 30But many who are first will be last, and many who are last will be first.

 

“God humbles the proud, but exalt the humble

 

Matthew 18:1-6 (pg. 695) says:

 

1At that time the disciples came to Jesus and asked, "Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?"

 2He called a little child and had him stand among them. 3And he said: "I tell you the truth, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. 4Therefore, whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.

 5"And whoever welcomes a little child like this in my name welcomes me. 6But if anyone causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him to have a large millstone hung around his neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea.

Matthew 23:10-14 (pg. 700) says:

10Nor are you to be called 'teacher,' for you have one Teacher, the Christ.[a] 11The greatest among you will be your servant. 12For whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and whoever humbles himself will be exalted.

 13"Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You shut the kingdom of heaven in men's faces. You yourselves do not enter, nor will you let those enter who are trying to.[b]

Luke 14:9-13 (pg. 739) says:

9If so, the host who invited both of you will come and say to you, 'Give this man your seat.' Then, humiliated, you will have to take the least important place. 10But when you are invited, take the lowest place, so that when your host comes, he will say to you, 'Friend, move up to a better place.' Then you will be honored in the presence of all your fellow guests. 11For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted."

 12Then Jesus said to his host, "When you give a luncheon or dinner, do not invite your friends, your brothers or relatives, or your rich neighbors; if you do, they may invite you back and so you will be repaid. 13But when you give a banquet, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind,

Luke 18:12-14 (pg. 742) says:

12I fast twice a week and give a tenth of all I get.'

 13"But the tax collector stood at a distance. He would not even look up to heaven, but beat his breast and said, 'God, have mercy on me, a sinner.'

 14"I tell you that this man, rather than the other, went home justified before God. For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted."

James 4:4-8 (pg. 856) says:

4You adulterous people, don't you know that friendship with the world is hatred toward God? Anyone who chooses to be a friend of the world becomes an enemy of God. 5Or do you think Scripture says without reason that the spirit he caused to live in us envies intensely?[a] 6But he gives us more grace. That is why Scripture says:
   "God opposes the proud
      but gives grace to the humble."[b]

 7Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. 8Come near to God and he will come near to you. Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.

1 Peter 5:5-7(pg. 859) says:

 5Young men, in the same way be submissive to those who are older. All of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, because,
   "God opposes the proud
      but gives grace to the humble."[a] 6Humble yourselves, therefore, under God's mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. 7Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.

Luke 14:7-12 (pg. 739) says:

7When he noticed how the guests picked the places of honor at the table, he told them this parable: 8"When someone invites you to a wedding feast, do not take the place of honor, for a person more distinguished than you may have been invited. 9If so, the host who invited both of you will come and say to you, 'Give this man your seat.' 27) SCEINCE CONFIRMS THE PRINCIPLE OF GENDER THAT EVERYTHING HAS IT’S MASCULINE AND FEMININE SIDES AND BOTH ARE ESSENTIAL TO THE CREATION PROCESS. Genesis 1:27,

Galatians 3:26-29, Mark 12:18-27

 

Genesis 1:27 says:

27 So God created man in his own image,
       in the image of God he created him;
       male and female he created them.

·        ·        Gender is in everything; everything has its Masculine and Feminine Principles; Gender manifests on all planes.

 

·        ·        Science recognizes that atoms, matter have positive and negative, male and female, anode and cathode poles.

 

·        ·        The word “Gender” is derived from the Latin root meaning to beget; to procreate; to generate; to create; to produce.”

 

·        ·        Science tells us that the atom is composed of a multitude of corpuscles, electrons, ions revolving around each other and vibrating at a high degree and intensity…

 

·        ·        The feminine particles vibrate rapidly under the influence of Masculine energy, and circle rapidly around the latter. The result is the birth of a new atom.

 

·        ·        The process of detachment or separation of the feminine electrons is called “ionization”

 

·        ·        Arising from their unions, or combinations, manifest the varied phenomena of light, heat, electricity, magnetism, attraction, repulsion, chemical affinity and the reverse.

 

·        ·        Everything in the organic world manifest both genders.

 

·        ·        The Electrical theory of the Universe

 

·        ·        The tendency of the feminine principle is always in the direction of receiving impressions, while the tendency of the Masculine Principle is always in the direction of giving out or expressing.

·        ·        I know men you can be emotional and nurturing.

 

·        ·        I know women who are very cognitive, cerebral and intelligent.

 

NOTE: BOTH MEN AND WOMEN ARE TO GET THEIR IDENTITY IN CHRIST AND NOT FROM THEIR GENDER OR ROLES.

 

Galatians 3:26-29 (pg. 825) says:

 

26You are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus, 27for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. 28There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. 29If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.

 

Mark 12:18-27 (pg. 718) says:

 

 18Then the Sadducees, who say there is no resurrection, came to him with a question. 19"Teacher," they said, "Moses wrote for us that if a man's brother dies and leaves a wife but no children, the man must marry the widow and have children for his brother. 20Now there were seven brothers. The first one married and died without leaving any children. 21The second one married the widow, but he also died, leaving no child. It was the same with the third. 22In fact, none of the seven left any children. Last of all, the woman died too. 23At the resurrection[a] whose wife will she be, since the seven were married to her?"

 24Jesus replied, "Are you not in error because you do not know the Scriptures or the power of God? 25When the dead rise, they will neither marry nor be given in marriage; they will be like the angels in heaven. 26Now about the dead rising—have you not read in the book of Moses, in the account of the bush, how God said to him, 'I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob'[b]? 27He is not the God of the dead, but of the living. You are badly mistaken!"

28) SCIENCE CONFIRMS THAT ENERGY IS NOT CREATED OR DESTROYED, IT ONLY CHANGES FORM AND CAN BE TRANSMUTED – (THROUGH MENTAL DISCIPLINE. Matthew 7:7-12, Luke 17:1-6

Matthew 7:7-12 says:

 

7"Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. 8For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.

 9"Which of you, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone? 10Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? 11If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him! 12So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.

29) SCIENCE CONFIRMS THAT ENERGY IS NOT CREATED OR DESTROYED BUT IS EVER PRESENT AND ONLY CHANGES FORM OVER TIME. Job 9:8, Psalm 104:1-6, Isaiah 40:22, Ecclesiastes 3

Psalm 104:2 and Isaiah 40:22 describe the Universe’s continuous expansion as the “stretching out” of the heaven like a tent being unfurled.

 

Ecclesiastes 3:1-15 says:

 

1 There is a time for everything,
       and a season for every activity under heaven:

 2 a time to be born and a time to die,
       a time to plant and a time to uproot,

 3 a time to kill and a time to heal,
       a time to tear down and a time to build,

 4 a time to weep and a time to laugh,

       a time to embrace and a time to refrain,

Implications. Love-hate relationships. If the love turns to hate, it can be manipulated back into love. It is possible – Love  is choice.

30) SCIENCE CONFIRMS THAT EVERY CAUSE HAS AN CORRESPONDING EFFECT AND EVERY EFFECT AS A CAUSE. Galatians 6:6-9, Luke 6:37-38, Matthew 7:1-5

·        ·        The principle of Cause and effect embodies the truth that law pervades the Universe; that nothing happens by chance; that chance is  merely a term indicating cause existing but not recognized or perceived; that phenomena is continuous, without break or exception.

 

·        ·        The principle of cause and effect underlies all scientific thought, ancient and modern.

 

·        ·        A careful examination will show that what we call “chance” is merely an expression relating to obscure causes; causes that we cannot perceive; causes that we cannot understand.

 

·        ·        There is always a “cause” and a “because” to every event. Nothing ever “happens” without a cause, or rather a chain of causes.

 

·        ·        Every thought we think, every act we perform, has its direct and indirect results which fit into the great chain of Cause and Effect.

 

Matthew 7:1-5 says:

 

1"Do not judge, or you too will be judged. 2For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.

 3"Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother's eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? 4How can you say to your brother, 'Let me take the speck out of your eye,' when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? 5You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother's eye.

 Luke 6:37-38 (pg. 729) says:

37"Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven. 38Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you."

 

Galatians 6:6-9 (pg. 826) says:

6Anyone who receives instruction in the word must share all good things with his instructor.

 7Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. 8The one who sows to please his sinful nature, from that nature[a]will reap destruction; the one who sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life. 9Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.

CONCLUSION: THE CHRISTIAN CAN TRANSCEND AND AT THE VERY LEAST LIMIT THE PULL OF “THE LAW OF POLARITY”, “THE LAW OF RHYTHM”, AND THE LAW OF “CAUSE AND EFFECT” THROUGH THE SIRITUAL DEISCIPLINES OF:

 

1. PRAYER

 

Mark 11:22-24 (pg. 717) says:

 

 20In the morning, as they went along, they saw the fig tree withered from the roots. 21Peter remembered and said to Jesus, "Rabbi, look! The fig tree you cursed has withered!"

 22"Have[f] faith in God," Jesus answered. 23"I tell you the truth, if anyone says to this mountain, 'Go, throw yourself into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen, it will be done for him. 24Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. 25And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive him, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins."[g]

2. CONFESSION OF SIN

 

1 John 1:8-9 (pg. 862) says:

8If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. 9If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.

3. MENTAL DISCIPLINE OF THINKING GOD’S THOUGHTS – “TAKING EVERY THOUGHT CAPTIVE AND BRINGING IT OBEDIENT TO THE LORD JESUS CHRIST”.

 

2 Corinthians 10:5 (pg. 811) says:

5We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.

Philippians 4:4-8 (pg. 832) says:

4Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! 5Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. 6Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

 8Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.

4) THE AMOR OF GOD.

Ephesians 6 (pg. 829) says:

10Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. 12For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 13Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. 14Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, 15and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 16In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. 18And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints.

 19Pray also for me, that whenever I open my mouth, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel, 20for which I am an ambassador in chains. Pray that I may declare it fearlessly, as I should.
