Isaac Still Obituary

Isaac Still, a resident of Fulton for many years, died Friday forenoon at the home of his daughter, Mrs. F Rhinehart, in Rock Island, after an illness of several months. The deceased was born in 1836 in Dayton, Ohio, and came to Fulton in 1852, where he lived until 1893, when he moved to DeSoto, Wis, where he resided until about two years ago, when he returned to this county and resided with his children either at Morrison or Rock Island. Mr. Still was a veteran of the civil war and was a private in Company F, Ninety third regiment, Illinois infantry. He was also a member of Robert Hall post, G.A.R. He is survived by his wife and one daughter and two sons, viz. Mrs. Rhinehart of Rock Island, Alex of Morrison, and Fred of St. Paul. His remains were brought to Fulton and the funeral held at M.E. church Sunday at 3 p.m., with interment in Fulton cemetery.
Isaac Still was Margaret (Still) Johnson's brother.
