The
waves really pound the Na Pali Coast in
the Winter. Here a wave breaks into a beautiful fan over a submerged
rock. |

| The
peak in the background may look familiar as the back drop for the
mythical island Bali Hai in South Pacific. Tunnels
Beach is a lovely place to enjoy the beauty of Kauai. You
will find shady places to picnic. There is a bathroom and fresh water
shower a short walk from the beach. |

The
waters of Wailua Falls plummet into a dark
pool below. There are no facilities to be found here. There
is a steep trail that leads to the pool beneath the falls. You
should not attempt to descend the trail after rain as it will be very
treacherous. |
